Categories are grouped as Places (3,300 items across 14 games), Movies (1,500 across 5), Music (886 across 5), Sports (1,300 across 5), Tech (1,100 across 5) and People (984 across 4), with more beyond those.
Why it scores well
Two reasons, and the first is simply the absence of something. We recorded no requests to any advertising network during a full page load. Among platforms of this size that is genuinely unusual, and it changes the experience of playing more than any feature does.
The second is that the three modes people actually want — a daily puzzle, a live opponent, and the ability to build your own round — are all present and all free. Most platforms have one of the three. The site states that its Versus mode supports up to 32 players in a single open room.
Data freshness
The home page does not state a data source, but it does say that every individual game page shows its available source and review date. If that holds across the catalogue it is the best data transparency practice in this directory, and we will confirm it game by game as individual modes are reviewed.
