Where the numbers come from
Footballer market values; the source is not named on the game page
The game does not publish when its data was last refreshed.
The same game, twice
While testing this entry we loaded football-games.fr and found an identical game: the same meta description word for word, and the same leaderboard with the same names and the same scores in the same order.
They are the same product on two domains. The difference is that this one loaded no advertising networks and the other loaded eight.
That is worth knowing before you pick. If you want this game, play it here.
How it plays
Two footballers, one question: which has the higher market value. Correct answers extend the streak; the player you got right becomes the new reference for the next round.
Two modes are offered. Normal is a casual run. Ranked feeds the public leaderboard, which tracks best scores over seven days, thirty days and all time.
The data gap
Market values are the most perishable figure in football. They move with form, contracts, age and transfer windows, and a valuation from two windows ago can be off by a factor of two.
This game page names no source and gives no date. The wider site references market value stats elsewhere, and the genre convention is to use Transfermarkt, but convention is not a citation and we do not record it as one. The HigherOrLowerGame.com version does name Transfermarkt explicitly, which is one thing it does better than this.
Around the game
FootballMinigames runs a suite — career path, stadiums, logos, bingo, a football wordle — on one account. If you like this format the surrounding games are the reason to stay, and none of them cost anything.
Verdict in detail
What works
- No advertising networks loaded at all during our check
- A ranked mode with 7-day, 30-day and all-time leaderboards, so a good run persists
- Sits inside a suite of football games — career path, stadiums, logos, wordle — sharing one account
- Playable without signing in; the account only affects leaderboard placement
What does not
- The market value source is not named anywhere on the game page
- No capture date, for figures that reset with every transfer window
- The leaderboard is dominated by scores far beyond casual reach
- Ranked mode leans on knowing current valuations rather than players
Best for
- Football fans
- Anyone who follows transfer valuations
- Ad-free play

Identical to the FootballMinigames version down to the shared leaderboard, but with eight advertising networks attached. There is no reason to choose this one.
Football Games

Four languages, a daily challenge and a visible changelog showing active maintenance — the most obviously alive football entry here, though its data source is still unnamed.
11Inicial

The only football entry here that names its data source. It says Transfermarkt on the page, adds World Cup and Premier League pools — and loads eight advertising networks.
