The traditional rules
With a standard deck, one player turns a card face up and the next has to call whether the following card will be higher or lower. Call it right and play continues; call it wrong and you take a penalty — a drink, a point, or the whole pile, depending on whose rules you are using. Aces are usually high, and a tie usually counts as a loss for the caller.
Everything on the browser side of this directory is a variation on that single mechanic with a dataset swapped in for the deck.
